Customize your Blastogo home page and your group page!

The Club is a great example of how to customize a page to make your group look unique.

You can do this with your personal profile too.  Create a profile pic and upload a background image to make your Blastogo page as good looking as your MySpace.

UVA’s Theta Delta Chi is a great example of how Blastogo group texting makes life easier!

The Theta Delt guys have created a group for the frat to send reminders about events and meetings and also to get brothers together for dinner and going out!

We’ve made “really easy group text messaging” even easier!  Create groups on the go!  Now you can text “name groupname” to 32075 to create a group without using your computer.  Ex: “name roomies”.

Choose a group name that’s short and easy to type with letters and numbers only.

In other exciting news for the day, the Grey’s Anatomy premiere is tonight on abc at 9/8c and we’re pretty excited about it!  We hope Rose doesn’t screw things up for Derek and Meredith!

Tickets are on sale for Foxfield’s 9th Annual Family Day at the Races.  This is another great family-friendly fall event for everyone in Cville .  Gates open at 9:30 a.m. this Sunday and will feature Pony Rides, Dog Races, Racecourse Walk and a children’s activities tent.

The benificary of this year’s Fall race is Charlottesville-Albermarle Kid Pan Alley.

The Men’s UVA soccer team plays Central Connecticut State tonight at Klockner Stadium.  The game starts at 7:00 and will hopefully be the men’s 3rd straight win at home.

The Blastogo kickoff party was last night at Biltmore.  Thanks to Brent for putting such a great group of people together!

Tomorrow is the 3rd annual Mid-Autumn’s Carnival at UVA from 12-5 pm.  It’s hosted by UVA students but the whole Cville community goes so bring your families and have some fall fun!

Admission is free and there will be a ton of games, attractions, great local food and best of all…PRIZES!

Plus, it goes to a great cause.  Proceeds go to the Charlottesville Redevelopment and Housing Authority Building Tomorrow: Destination Kampala, a non-profit dedicated to building elementary schools in Uganda!
